About us

Matthew Druce (PhD)

Matt brings two decades of high-level analytical and field expertise to environmental and biological-geological-chemical challenges at local, regional, and global scale. His technical grounding was established through development of novel analytical techniques in state-of-the-art clean laboratories and applied in programmes spanning some of the most extreme and remote environments on Earth — Antarctic sea ice, the Dry Valleys, and voyages across the Southern Ocean — where accuracy, communication and reliability are essential.

That same rigour and logistical adaptability carries into routine activities: from projects in estuaries, marinas, and urban catchments to rural streams and mountainous terrain, accessed on foot, by kayak, vessel, or road — whatever it takes for efficient, defensible sampling in hard-to-reach locations. All to answer specific questions.
